Why Peluma exists
Anyone who lives with a cat or a dog knows the trade-off: you love them, and you are also finding fur on everything you own. Most grooming tools make that worse before they make it better — loose hair goes everywhere, the brush clogs after two strokes, and your pet decides the whole thing is a punishment.
We started Peluma around a simple idea: grooming should be calm for the pet and clean for the home. Not a wrestling match followed by twenty minutes with a lint roller.
The name comes from pelo — hair, coat, fur. It is the thing we spend all our time thinking about.
How we choose what we sell
We are deliberately small. We would rather carry a handful of things that genuinely solve a daily problem than a catalogue of items nobody needs. Every product we list has to pass three tests:
- It has to be gentle. If a pet hates it, it will sit in a drawer. Soft silicone over stiff wire, every time.
- It has to reduce mess, not move it. Trapping loose fur at the source beats sweeping it up later.
- It has to be easy to clean. A grooming tool you have to clean by hand is a grooming tool you stop using.
What we promise
- Free worldwide shipping on every order, with no minimum.
- Honest delivery times. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 7–15 business days. We would rather tell you that up front than promise two-day delivery we cannot keep.
- 30 days to change your mind. If something arrives damaged, defective, or simply is not what you ordered, we cover return shipping and make it right — replacement or full refund, your choice.
- A real person answers. Email us and you will get a reply, not a ticket number that disappears.
